Mission Statement

As the collective voice of Hay River’s business community, the Hay River Chamber of Commerce works to create a diverse economic climate by providing responsible leadership and representation on issues and projects affecting and promoting business.

Guiding Principles

Non-Partisan
The Hay River Chamber of Commerce is a non-partisan organization, open to all people with an interest in Hay River business.
 
Strategic Alliances
The Hay River Chamber of Commerce will enter into strategic alliances with other groups and organizations in order to speak with a strong and better-informed voice on behalf of its members.
 
Value Added Activities
The Hay River Chamber of Commerce will emphasize value-added activities to achieve its mission.  The Chamber will only undertake activities that combine promotion of it’s goals and principles with self-reliance.

Goals

• To provide service and support to prospective and existing Chamber members.
• To provide representation and leadership on issues and projects affecting Hay River business.
• To lobby and liaise with all levels of government and Hay River stakeholders.
• To provide an opportunity for business people to experience personal growth through active involvement in Hay River issues.
