The Hay River Health and Social Services Authority provides the South Slave area of the Northwest Territories with quality healthcare. Our catchment area includes the community of Hay River, which has a population of approximately 3,800 residents. In addition to Hay River, the area also includes six outlying communities with a catchment area in excess of 6,000 people.
